“Joining the VS Collective was really about taking my power back and having the power over my body be released to myself again.”

The campaign marks Hadid’s first with Victoria’s Secret since she cut ties with the intimates giant in 2020, when then-top executive Ed Razek was accused of inappropriate conduct.
The 71-year-old businessman stepped down from his position after a New York Times exposé alleged that he had made unwanted sexual advances towards models and even told Hadid that she had “perfect titties.”
However, the company’s rebranding got Hadid back. Specifically, scantily-clad Angels were replaced by the VS Collective, an ambassador program featuring actress Priyanka Chopra and professional soccer star/LGBTQIA+ activist Megan Rapinoe.
“What magnetized me to coming back was them coming to me and really proving to me that, behind the scenes, Victoria’s Secret has changed so drastically,” Hadid told Marie Claire of her decision.
“[Joining the VS Collective] was really about taking my power back and having the power over my body be released to myself again.”
Outside of VS, Hadid also recently starred in Michael Kors x No Time to Die “Secret Agent Chic” fashion campaign, shot at The Ocean Club seen in Casino Royale.
“I love the independence and the multifaceted character of each different Bond girl,” Hadid said of the new collection per ET Canada. “She can be ANYTHING and everything. Anywhere and nowhere. Classic, cool and independent.”
