This Alpine White skeleton watch pays tribute to Aspen’s silver mining heritage with a high-shine titanium dial.
Aspen Snowmass celebrates 75 years of pairing powdery mountainous thrills with upscale ski culture in 2022. The occasion is well-suited to a limited-edition Hublot, the resort’s official timekeeper.
The fine Swiss watchmaker’s Classic Fusion serves as the Aerofusion Aspen Snowmass’ base. A satin-polished black ceramic 45mm case is paired with a large solid Alpine White ceramic bezel, providing visual contrast against the many angular innards of the skeletonized sapphire dial with rhodium plating appliques.
An Aspen tree leaf serves as the second hand’s pointer, while the hands’ and indices high-shine titanium finish harks to the silver mining heritage of the Aspen township and surrounding Rocky Mountains.
Power comes from the brand’s own HUB1155 self-winding skeleton chronograph movement, which has a 42-hour reserve. The timepiece is paired with a black rubber and black-stitched white calf strap secured via a black PVD stainless steel-coated clasp.
Limited to just 30 examples, the Hublot Aerofusion Aspen Snowmass is available to purchase now for $18,500.
