Heritage Customs is making an extremely limited series of droptop Land Rover Defenders.

Land Rover doesn’t have any known plans for a convertible version of the latest Defender, so a Dutch company called Heritage Customs is stepping in to make dreams of a droptop Defender a reality.

Renderings spotted by Robb Report show a simple design—the two-door, short-wheelbase Defender 90’s roof and B-pillar are gone, and a folding cloth cover sits in the trunk.

Heritage Customs didn’t provide any details on the powertrain, which likely means that both the 296-horsepower inline-four and 395-hp inline-six are on the table. But the company did outline three vacation-themed trims.

The Mediterranean coast-cruising “Côte d’Azur” is shown in light blue with black bumpers and 22-inch ” Space Cowboy wheels wrapped in white wall tires.

A Solihul Sand harks to the first production Land Rover from 1948 with a green paint job, gray bumpers and copper accents, and the Kokkini Paralia aims to create Santorini volcanic island vibes with a dark red coat and black bumpers.

All three get a Spinneybeck leather interior, Magic Metal accents and sport seats as options.

Limited to five examples of each trim, the Heritage Customs Land Rover Defender 90 Valiance Convertibles start at $157,000. Click here to learn more.
